James A. Wheat James grew up along the beautiful emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico in Northwest Florida. After studying Marketing at the University of West Florida, he went to work with his Step-Father, David A. Russell as an apprentice Real Estate Agent and Developer. David has developed over two thousand acres throughout Northwest Florida, and wrote the Bert-Harris Act, which is the current private property rights legislation protecting private ownership of real property in the State of Florida. An incredible mentor, David has over 50 years as a Real Estate Broker and Developer. James earned his Florida Broker’s license in 2008, and shortly after founded Wheat Real Estate, Inc., buying and selling Real Estate for its clients in Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, and Crestview, Florida. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2011, and joined Keller Williams Atlanta Partners as an associate Broker. He also became the designated Broker for AZ Bidder / eChoice Realty in both Florida and Georgia, which in 2013 purchased over 9 Billion dollars in Real Estate for its clients.
